Fitbit overheating, burning my wrist, and dying fast

I've had my fitbit versa for just under 3 years and loved it up until this past week.

I noticed it was dying quicker and overheating often.

It's so bad that I have burned the top of my wrist more than once before realizing it was overheating.

I let it die and then recharger it and its good for 2-3 days, then does it again.

I'm not sure what to do because I think the warranty is up and I havent found a 'fix' for the issue.

Any recommendations.

Check for water damage by looking for condensation in the back windows using a magnifying glass.

If found, allow the watch to dry for some days before charging again.

In any case its probably become faulty, ie. partial short inside and probably will need replacing.

Probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

Same thing happened to me and now I have permanent scars on my wrist.   This appears to be something Fitbit was aware of and failed to warn the public.
