Fitbit parts supply for repairs

I have officially had it with the Fitbit company. I will never, ever own another, and will get the word out. I got a Fitbit Versa 2 months ago as a gift. I unfortunately at some point unbeknownst to me cracked the glass on the face. Now, I totally understand the fact that Fitbit warrentee doesn't cover me breaking it, but... There is no availability of repair parts available, so these are the options. Wear a cracked faced Fitbit or purchase a new Fitbit offered with a discount. I think that it is VERY poor public relations for a company to sell what they consider to be disposable product for $150, $200, and $300, but offer absolutely 0 ways to have them repaired. It tells me just how much they profit from a $250 product that they will offer you at 40% off. I am switching to Samsung Gear. Something more powerful and dependable,  and if something does go wrong(even if I do it), I can have it repaired. So long Fitbit. You have made a enemy of me and everyone on social media, and any person who asks my advice for a fitness tracker will be told up front from me to purchase anything, but Fitbit brand. Adios!

Hi, very sorry to read you're bad experiences with Fitbit in your case and I really do understand your frustration and anger about this. But remember, there are also a lot of very satisfied Versa users, only they do not post it here unfortunately. Now everyone gets a negative idea about the Versa and Fitbit, which is of course from your point of view totally logical. I wish you very good luck in finding a suitable alternative!!

Shouldn't be a problem. That's about the extent of help Fitbit has been to me. Thanks for your money, and we hope you find a suitable replacement.

I completely agree with your thoughts.  I cannot believe that there is no option to have the watch serviced outside of the 1 year warranty.  I have had my watch for 1 year and 1 month.  I thought this watch would last me several years.
