When will Fitbit pay upgrade to UK high street banks/building societies such as Halifax, Barclays, Lloyds etc instead of the few randomly selected ones that no-one has even heard of (except Santander)?? How is it USA and other countries have hundreds and we can’t even get the popular high street ones in the UK?!
I have been a Fitbit user for many years now and one of the main reasons I upgraded was to utilise this feature only to be disappointed!!!
not impressed with this at all

Probably Fitbit will never upgrade the UK list (hasn't done that since Ionic). There is one bank on the list worth trying - Starling. If you travel abroad you will find it quite useful not paying any fees for using your card abroad. If you don't want to add one more account to ones you may already have then forget about FitbitPay. It's rather useless feature in the UK.

@Emmamaple76 It's up to the bank to decide to participate with Fitbit Pay. I bank with a widely known US bank that doesn't participate. I contacted them through my account message service and name dropped every major US bank that participates. They politely replied and said they had no plans to participate. Fitbit Feature Requests are useless if it is the bank that decides. We need to keep asking out banks.

@LZeeW I'm wondering what stops Fitbit from reaching out to banks on the business level. They certainly did it to add initial banks. Business to business relation carries lot more power than user to business(especially when it come to banking). With assumption that users should be asking banks it's better to forget about this feature right now. I'm wondering how many banks were added to FitbitPay because users contacted banks. I can only guess but something tells me a number of 0.
Just final thought. Asking banks to participate in FitbitPay carries same power as posting and voting in feature suggestions. Banks or Fitbit will do anyway whatever they want regardless.

@t.parker I am not a Fitbit employee and have no direct knowledge about if and how Fitbit reaches out to banks. I do know that the Feature Suggestion for my bank was started in 2017 and certainly has gone nowhere.
