Fitbit pay shows my card and buzzed when next to reader, but no payment processed

I saved my chase sapphire credit card to my wallet ( the credit card is Fitbit pay compatible ) and when I long press the left button I can see my card, and the info : hold near reader. Then I hold near the reader , then the versa watch buzzed, however , that’s it, nothing happens, the card reader didn’t show payment being process nor does the watch. 

I have a versa special edition. 
Any help will be appreciated

Sometimes like that I find I moved it away too soon; seems have to hold it there a couple of seconds until get 2nd buzz, almost like 1st buzz says I sense a card, 2nd buzz says I was able to read it okay.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I tried many times hold long , short , only have one buzz... tried in different places as well, Costco , convenient store ... worked with Apple Pay from my phone after tried Fitbit pay...
