Fitbit repair for overseas customers

I'm based overseas, I bought my fitbit versa from the fitbit official website of my country. My fitbit versa has a cracked screen, it's not severe to the point of unusable but I'm scared to take it swimming now because I'm not sure if water would get in. I contacted the customer service, 3 days later, I get a short email reply: "No repair service for overseas users."

Pretty much the WORST customer service, EVER.

What do international customers do for repair? Any suggestions?

I really think fitbit should have better considerations for their customers, you can buy, at a more expensive price from your country, but nope, we don't provide any aftercare service whatsoever. Seriously? I'm not asking for repair free of charge, but at least give me some other options or suggestions than "no repair!"

This is my second fitbit, I enjoy it and use it daily but I'm seriously thinking of switching to another brand after this.

Actually there is no official Fitbit repair anywhere, even in U.S.  I don't know why someone put "for overseas users" in the reply.

Don't feel you're being treated worse.  Many non-U.S. countries have a 2 year warranty as opposed to 1 year in U.S.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

I would add a cracked screen is not covered under warranty regardless of where you are. I have 2 suggestions. First, do not go swimming with it. It is no longer water tight. Second, to preserve it I would get a phone screen protector and cut it down to size to fit the Versa,

Sorry, I do not see any other options short of a new tracker.
