Fitbit should be embarrassed of the setup for the Versa 3

Firstly, has anyone here actually been able to get their Versa 3 to connect to Wifi during the setup? I googled this as I can't get it to connect and I see endless results about the same thing going back years... Why hasn't this been fixed yet? Myself and my partner had the exact same problem this week.
Now I have been sat here for 2.5 hours waiting for the **ahem** thing to update and its on 27%.... its 2022, how is this a thing?

 

This device is meant to be smart but so far it seems the complete opposite. Really not impressed Fitbit...

Yes, I haven't had any issues.

Plug in and charging

Make sure WiFi is 2.5

The phone needs to be on the safe network. 

 

What is the issue
