Fitbit shuts off at night

I have been having a lot of problems that most people have been having with their Fitbit.... Shutting off got no reason, battery draining from almost full to no battery in a matter of minutes, not wanting to turn on when off, not wanting to link to my phone AND my new problems is it likes to turn itself off at night and right back on in the morning when I wake up. I am not a fan of it doing that BECAUSE I like to be able to look at my watch at night when I wake up to see the time and now I can't so that. Does anyone know if this is a normal thing? Can I stop it from doing that? Should I just flush my Versa because of all the problems it has had and will continue to have?

For your current sleep problem, make sure Sleep Mode is turned Off by swiping left to settings and scroll down to Sleep Mode.  Then, for the other problems, try a Restart and do it several times if necessary.

Ok, so I did all those things and am still having the same issue of my Versa 3 shutting down at night. My stats say I’m only getting 1-2 hours of sleep—which I know is incorrect. I’ve tried restarting it multiple times (read double digits). What gives? Is there an update or something I’m missing?

Hi @MelB9779  - if by any chance you are left handed try wearing it on the left arm at night.

It may be you are actioning the button, a common problem on the right arm.

Did you ever end up finding a solution to this issue?

it started happening to me so I did a factory reset and that has helped but now it’s starting again.
customer service just told me it is because my Snore Detect is on and is draining my battery. And I don’t believe that.
Any help since posting this?

Thanks!

Hi @ChipFallsLisa - it can happen that there is high battery usage and if the watch does not have sufficient charge to last the night it will shutdown. Does it require charging before starting again? Solution make sure there is at least 50% charge? What watch do you have as this post is for a Versa which doesn't have Snore Detect?
