Fitbit versa 1 - incorrect heartrate and sleep stats

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello,

*I’ve followed all the troubleshooting steps.

I noticed since this past weekend, my heartrate stats have been significantly higher (135+ bpm sitting on the couch)  and my sleep schedule is not accurately counted. The time is right (sleep and wake) but the insights cannot be calculated.

I spoke with customer support and they stated dozens of people are having this issue and engineer team

is working on it.

After this issue happened with the heartrate, I noticed the battery started dying like really quick after a month. I looked at my fitBit closely in the back and there was condensation build up where the heart rate lights are after a workout. Which I think affected the Fitbit as a whole and started to breakdown. Started the battery dying and obviously the heartrate stopped working. It’s unfortunate This doesn’t fall under warranty because I love my Fitbit. But Fitbit offered a 25% off their products. Which isn’t terrible. Because this doesn’t fall under the warranty timeframe (1.5/ 1 year), I purchased this under my credit. My credit card company has a extended warranty on devices. They are looking at the product for a full refund so I can purchase a new device. It’s a bit annoying but I would recommend looking at your Credit card benefits in case this ever occurs.
