Fitbit versa 2 won’t charge and wont sync

My fitbit versa 2 isn’t charging and the green light on the back no longer is on and it won’t sync to my iPhone. The watch went black a few days ago so I assumed it was dead and plugged it in but when I came back it wasn’t charged and now when I press the button it just gives me a Fitbit logo and says a red x with “data not cleared, sync and try again” but the watch will not sync to anything. My Bluetooth is on and I’ve tried unpairing the watch and deleting my app and redownloading it. Not sure what else to do.

It seems you did a factory reset, so reinstall the watch

  • Unpair your Watch from your phone's Bluetooth.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Watch  again in the App
  • with + Set up a device
  • If there is no connection, restart your Watch .
