Hello,
I am totally frustrated.got my fitbit versa I end April 2018. Battery is barely last 4 hours. Within minutes of taking it off charge it falls to 80%. I turned off all day sync, I have taken off all apps that might contribute to the drain. I have taken every step that has been recommended for. Optimum battery life. Nothing is helping. Please help !!

Have you tried restarting your device? Press and hold the left button and bottom right button together for 15 secs (until you see the fitbit logo), do this a few times and see if that makes any difference.
If not you should definitely reach out to customer support. They can access your account and see what's going on with your battery, and discuss your options with you.

Thank you. Yes I did try that as well. Will try once now. I just charged it to 100%.

Hi am having the same issue just charged it up and within 3 hours it has dropped to 27%! Only ever charged every 3 days before! Tried to reset it still draining the battery

You could try a factory reset, there is no guarantee that will fix the issue either. If the issue persists you will need to contact support, I believe they will probably get you to do a factory reset as part of the troubleshooting process.

I contacted fitbit support and upon checking my logs and warranty information, they replaced the dial for me .hoping I will have better experience with the new one
