Hello
I have since a week a Fitbit versa. Since 2 days my notification list contains a agenda notification which I cannot open nor remove from the list. When I open it (or when it scrolls on the watch screen) the Fitbit seems to crash and starts itself by displaying the fitbit logo. After the restart everything is working fine as long as I don't touch or display the mentioned notification. So new notifications pop-in and can be deleted.
Does anybody knows a solution for this very annoying problem?
Note: I already restarted the Fitbit and my IPhone but nothing seems to help.

@Marrrmaduke thanks for your swift reply. Unfortunately your resolution didn't resolve the problem.
In the meantime I solved it myself by:
Fingers crossed that the problem will not reappear again.
Note: I also had to reinstall my not default apps, reinstall my favorite clock-face, configure the app messages, after finishing the installation since they were gone. All other data was still there.

@Janvh22 I am glad you managed to resolve it! 🙂 Factory reset is the last thing I recommend as it required setting up tracker again.

In the meantime I already I have for the 4th time the same issue. After using the fitbit Versa without issue several weeks, suddenly it comes back into the situation where it crashes when I open the oldest message in the list. The only option that I have is to reinstall the Fitbit unfortunately. Are you or anyone else having a better and more user friendly resolution?

@Janvh22 I am assuming this particular old notification has expired and there's a bug that triggers this particular Versa's behaviour. Can you still see this old notification on your phone or is it visible only on your Versa?

Hello @Marrrmaduke
Thank you for your answer.
To answer your question. I'm not 100% sure about the scenario when I first notice this problem. For sure at the end it exists without the equivalent message on my IPhone. To be more detailed, new messages will still successfully added to the new list and will not cause any problem as long as the "fault" message is not scrolling into the display. This "fault" message is thus always on top so I cannot try the "Delete All" option which on top of the first message.
Any suggestion for a resolution is welcome. Thank you in advance
Also your question triggered another thought. I'm mot sure if it in all situations the problem was caused by a push message from the same App ("Omroep Brabant" --> a regional Dutch news & radio app). For sure last week it was. I will keep track of that for sure in future occurrences.

Yes, what you describe exactly confirms my suspicions. The notification is expired and stuck in the Fitbit app notification channel. It's a bug. ughhh Usually unpairing, repairing and reboot of the devices clears it. The second level is re-installing Fitbit app. The third level is factory reset of the Versa or unlinking and liinking with the Fitbit account again. I usually never remove Versa from my account (Fitbit mobile app) because this may cause some nasty problems if it backfires. Nevertheless, my advice would be to disable the notifications for the problematic apps (the ones you suspect are prone to get stuck).

It could be that particular notifications tend to trigger it. For me in 99% cases it's WhatsApp notification.
