Latest Fitbit OS update has rendered my device to show inaccurate heart rate reading. Even when I am sitting idle, the device is showing heart rate in 150-170 range. This was happening even while sleeping. Yesterday I reached 300+ AZM (active zone minute) score which is too too much.
The issue just doesn't end here:
I have shared this issue with customer support but they have not replied to my email since yesterday.
I highly believe that this is a software issue and if it has affected your device then please upvote so that Fitbit staff gets aware of the issue.

@itsNikhil I am moving your post to the Other Versa Smartwatches forum. It is a better fit for your issue and you might get help there.

Yes, I have exactly the same story. don't believe that any forum or any service support or executive is going to assist you. I've been bringing this to their attention for months and get nothing more than a brush off. Except when the executive team decided to replace my Versa 2 with a Versa 3. Now, the problem is worse. At least with the Versa 2, the heart rate was only wrong when I was working out. Now, it's wrong all day long.
I did nothing this entire day but work on the computer. Yet, it seems I was in fat burning for over an hour and a half.
Every day since I put this Versa 3 on has been like this. I was thinking of asking for my Versa 2 back, but instead think I might sell this thing and get a Garmin instead.
