Fitbit versa lite update broke my fitbit

Hi 

I left my fitbit for half an hour and came back to a message saying 'Data not cleared Sync and try again' with a big red cross on the screen.

I restarted it and it did nothing, unpaired repaired and still nothing.

The app then said it needed updating which I started. It has taken over 24 hours and it only got to about 75% done. During this time it kept coming up with the error messages over and over. A day later it is in a loop of trying to update on the app and the actual fitbit saying the error message then coming up with a white fitbit logo, then blue, then back to the error message.

 

I have had this fitbit for 6 months and my phone is connected to wifi, it is currently unusable but on the app it is saying it is syncing. I have tried to find a number to call fitbit but could not find one.

 

Please could someone assist with the above 🙂
