Fitbit versa no longer recieves notifications

My fitbit versa has stopped receiving notifications.  Sometimes if I swipe down I can see a notification but not always and they no longer pop up on the screen and it does not vibrate.  I have checked all settings on the app, the device itself and on my  iphone8 and everything looks correct.  I am at a loss why this has happened since it always worked before.

I just started having a similar issue. My Versa isn't receiving text messages or phone call notifications! If I swipe down it tells me I'm all caught up. It was working yesterday.

I called help desk on Saturday the 27th and was told it is a known issue.  As of today, it is still not working.

I  am no longer receiving notifications as well. Known issue by fitbit... extremely disappointing.

On my fourth call to Fitbit, I got a very helpful person who had had the
same problem with her fitbit. She told name to press and hold the single
button on the left side (where there is only one button). A screen will
come up with several settings. One of these is for notifications. Make
sure that says on. The person who helped me said it is easy for that
button to be accidentally pressed and the setting changed from on to off.
That is evidently what had happened with mine. Very simple fix if you know
where it is. I just wish the first three people I talked to had known.
