See the stupid message from fitbit to change my device if I want to use fitbit versa as they are complacent enough rather than providing a solution asking me to change the mobile device. They dont know how to deal with customer genuine problems, rather than providing a solution asking me to change the mobile device. Insane.
Hello Ali,
Thanks for getting back to us.
We completely understand you, Ali. Due to Bluetooth issues that prevent certain devices, like Fitbit devices, from syncing, our products aren't compatible with the Xiaomi Mi 6.
What we can tell you though is our customer's voice has always been essential in the development of our products and policies so we'll surely take note of your feedback.
Meanwhile, the best thing that we can advise to sync their Versa with a compatible device. We hope you understand.
If you'll have any other questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us. We're always more than happy to assist you.
Sincerely,Josephine A. and the Fitbit Team

That message seems to be taken from one of their help files.

My reading of that is that fitbit are not the only people affected by the way Huawei / Xiaomi have implemented bluetooth and that it's not something fitbit can fix. I'm sure they would fix it if they could but unfortunately not all work with fitbit which is why we are encouraged to check their list of supported devices at www.fitbit.com/devices
