Hi there everyone,
I'm noticing my fitbit versa is not syncing. If I logged a workout, it will not show in the overview on my fitbit watch. It will not show my sleep, it will not show the weather report (it will state it need to sync with my phone). Only when I open the fitbit versa app, then sync the device with my phone, it will show up a few minutes later, which is a shame because the reason why I have the watch is so I don't have to grab my phone all the time. Anyone knows how to solve this problem, or is this normal? It seems strange because you actually log a workout with the watch, so you would expect it to immediately show there, instead of first syncing it with my phone via the app. I also checked the settings but I do have it on continuous synchronisation.
Any thoughts? Let me know.
Many thanks in advance.
Cheers,
Kirsy
Best Answer@KLvP Welcome to the forum. Two thoughts:
I've had my versa for less than a month and it seems to be a very normal thing. I've gone 2 straight days with having no syncing issues and that was only one time. Usually it's every single day. For a watch that cost $200, it's terrible. Out of the 4 devices I've owned, this is by far my least favorite even though it was the most expensive. This versa is making me look into other non fitbit devices...
Best AnswerYeah, I get it. It's the whole idea of having a watch > not to have to grab your phone all the time. For me this was a better alternative to an Apple Watch because of its aesthetics (I really don't like the look of the Apple Watch) and price. But now not sure anymore. Also the way they promote that you would have a coach on your versa, but leaving out the fact that you only have this if you buy a subscription.
Best Answer@KLvP If you have an iphone, please make sure All-day sync is on. The recalculated data needs to be synced back to Versa. To restore proper connectivity, try doing this:
If you have Wifi set up, go to Fitbit mobile app and remove it, then sync your Versa. I noticed that it causes issues for me. If you have other Bluetooth devices paired with your phone, forget them. One of them might be causing issues. Again, make sure All day sync is enabled.
