Fitbit versa phone call notification not received on galax9plus

Please help me.

I have fitbit versa on software version 32.32.12.19 and my mobile is galaxy s9 plus software is 8.0 oreo iusse is that i cant receive phone call notification in on versa  And the notification that is within the Fitbit application, the phone call I pressed it, even if my mobile phone does not show the demo on my mobile phone call.its mean fitbit aap bugs please help me

@Kayani Is it only phone call notifications that you're not receiving? Are you getting other notifications? Try turning off and on Bluetooth on your phone as well as rebooting your Versa several times by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons at the same time until Fitbit logo flashes.

Dear ,I am not asking for receiving call on versa. Versa not showing in coming calls.Note:I typed many times on the way you mentioned, but it did not get anySent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

@Kayani I understand you're not getting call notifications on your Versa. Are you getting text messaging or other types of notifications on your versa? Does your versa sync properly? Finally, can you please share your Android version?

I am having the same issue. Same type of phone also.  No call alerts and no text notifications

@Kayani@Manaskhera and @Chicago97, I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. If you have already checked the troubleshooting steps provided by @Marrrmaduke and you're still having trouble receiving Notifications, please try the following:

 

  1. Make sure your phone is set to receive notifications. For more information, see How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?
  2. Force-quit the Fitbit app
  3. Press down the button on the Versa for 2 seconds, then swipe left and make sure Notification are ON.
  4. Reset Bluetooth by turning it off for 10 seconds, then turning it back on.
  5. Restart your Versa by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen.
  6. Refresh Notifications:
    1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Account icon > Versa
    2. Tap Notifications.
    3. Turn off all notifications
    4. Restart your phone.
    5. Open the Fitbit app and turn notifications back on.
  7. Set up Notifications again:
    1. Tell your phone to "forget" your device, removing the connection between the phone and the Fitbit device. 
      1. On your phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth and find your Fitbit device in the list.
      2. Find an option to forget the device.
    2. Open the Fitbit app and set up notifications again.

@Chicago97 Thank you for letting me know that you're not getting any notifications. My next question would be - does Versa sync at all? Please try this:

 

  1. Remove wifi network from Fitbit mobile app and force sync
  2. Unpair (remove) Versa from your phone's bluetooth settings
  3. Uninstall Fitbit mobile app
  4. Reboot your phone and install Fitbit mobile app. Do not pair
  5. Reboot your Versa by pressing and holding the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes
  6. Login to Fitbit mobile app
  7. Grant all permissions and force sync
  8. Set up your notifications in Fitbit mobile app and sync again.

Note: Please make sure the Notifications are on your Versa - press and hold the left button to access Quick Menu. Notifications should be ON.

Still does not work. I was on the phone with a person for and hour.  Your firmwear is flawed for note8 and s9 . What a joke.   I did everything 4 times and then we decided to try it on the s5  AMD it works perfect...  but problem is I have a note8!!!

I have tried everything possible. I hope they work out these little kinks.  I will say if half works. ( If I get a call and I don't answer it from my phone it will vibrate one time on the versa. But onlly if the called was missed. )Very strange. And I get a notification when i get a text but cannot see the text or cannot respond.

@Lburgett Thanks, please make sure you can read the body of the message in the Notification Center Bar of your phone. If you cannot, it means that the message content is hidden/private. You need to allow preview of your messages in the message app settings on your phone. The preview needs to be visible in the Notification Centre. Also, I recommend switching to native/default messaging app.

@Kayani There is not such thing as Always-on display as it would drain your battery rapidly. Now having said that, there are several clockfaces you can install that will allow that. Unfortunately, I do not remember their names. You cannot browse this forum for more info.

I'm getting text messages, and missed call one vibration once call is missed.  It just won't tell me when an actual call is coming in, only when it has been missed.  It's been updated.  32.33.1.30.  I have checked every setting in my phone have reinstalled factory reset my versa, uninstalled application etc.

@Lburgett please go to settings on your phone, scroll down to Apps, tap and open Application List. Tap on the three dots in the right top corner, and select Show System Apps. Scroll down through the app list to something like Call Management. This might be called differently on your device. Open it and tap on Notifications. Make sure that Incoming calls are set to Urgent or High.

Reboot your phone and Versa, and sync.

Had the same issue with S7. Go to settings on the phone, select date and time. If 'auto time' is turned off simply turn it on. This has worked for me and others. I think the auto time must have been turned off during an update cuz I noticed my phone time was behind by 2 minutes.
