@Versa-tility and auto-time being switched off caused the lack of phone calls notifications?

Yes, oddly enough. This has been verified by another member as well.

I went in an reset my settings on my note 8 and it worked!

For anyone else that needs help with this issue.

1st. Make sure versa has been updated to the new firmware.

2nd. Disconnect from bluetooth,  delete versa

3rd. Go into your phone settings >general managment > reset all settings to their default.

4th. Go to settings>general management >reset.

5th. Go to settings>notifications>make sure fitbit app and messaging app and email app (email only if you want notifications) set to ALLOW these apps.

Restart versa.

Restart phone.

Connect bluetooth on phone to pair with versa

Go into fitbit app

Click on the versa watch at the top right corner.

Now

Turn on all day sync.

Scroll down....

Turn on Always connected and

Turn on Keep widget alive

Scroll up...

Click on notifications >turn on calls

Go into app notifications make sure, FITbit contacts, messaging apps and emails are all on.

While still in this settings notifications area in the fitbit app,

Go to the top right corner with three dots, click that and  click send a test call notification.

Hopefully it works!

If it doesn't, go to the sync in the fitbit app and sync and then try again.

If it does not, you should delete the device and set it up again like a new versa and adjust settings as said above in fitbit app. And the notifications in the phone.  Good luck.

Glad it worked for you. I think during a Samsung update the setting must have gotten turned off. I did not need to anything else other that turn the auto time to on. I started receiving phone calls 2 minutes later. So don't disconnect and re-pair, sync........... if you do not have to.

This could have possibly been my problem.    Resetting phone to default settings  made it go back to Auto time.  Who knows. But I'm sure glad my Versa is functioning properly.  🙂  My friend has a Note 8 and it worked.seamlessly for her, so I knew something was up with my phone settings.

hello everybody. THIS MESSAGE to FITBIT TEAM

i had pebble steel first - no problem

later i had pebble time steel - was some issues with connection to phone, but pebble solve them

now i have versa!! i want to buy a gadget and to use it from box! why i need to "dance"?

first: notification service not running. solve by adding it to autorun. NO such promlems with pebble or mibands. THE SAME TECHNOLOGY!! SAME ANDROID!

second: calls notification. solve by auto-time switch. NO such promlems with pebble or mibands. THE SAME TECHNOLOGY!! SAME ANDROID!

maybe you have a QA manager vacancy - i can solve all your problems! 🙂
