Fitbit versa "workout" exercise

Hi all,

I bought my very first fitbit versa last month, and really like it.

But I am still not clear what the "Workout" exercise? Can I choose it do rope jumping or rowing, etc? And how fitbit calculate the callories burn for this "Workout"? @

Is there any difference between "Workout" and "Weight"?

Ps: I noticed that after fitbit updated the newest firmware, my versa counts steps more accurately, doesn't count any steps while i swim or ride motorcycle. I am not sure fitbit change any calculation algorithm or not, but happy now.

Thank you for your support

Welcome to the forums!

Workout mode is used when there is nothing else available. So yes I would use it for rope jump

For weights I would use the weight mode

Hope to see you around
