I've just got a fitbit versa and I'm a bit disappointed as the shade of the rose gold watch face looks quite different to what I've seen online- it is much more pink than gold (see picture comparing it to the stock photo from ASOS)
I contacted fitbit and they said there isn't any manufacturing variation in the rose gold versa, so mine must be normal... but it looks so different to so many photos I've seen online.
I realise it's quite hard to represent in photos but please look at the photos I've take of mine - any other rose gold versa owners please comment on whether mine looks the same as yours!

@asmallscientist I put my rose gold Versa next to my rose gold Charge 2. The Versa is definitely a "rosier" rose gold. Your Versa looks pretty much like mine -- but see below.
As an amateur photographer, I can tell you for certain that the light used when taking a photograph will affect the final result. Also, how a color appears on a computer screen can depend on the operating system, graphics card and web browser. You can look at the same website using two different browsers on your own computer and see two different colors.
"That does not look like the color I saw on my computer screen" is a common phrase in on-line reviews.

Mine looks more like the Fitbit stock photo than yours. I have tried to purchase 3rd party metal bands in rose gold and all are "pinker" than my watch. Fitbit doesn't sell a metal band to match the rose gold Versa. It's my opinion that there is a color variation between manufacturing lots but unless we all get together for coffee and compare we'll never really know.

Thanks both for your replies.
I decided to take my versa into a department store and compare it to the model they had on display. It was noticably 'pinker' (I asked 3 sales assistants for back up!). So now I have bought a new one and will return the original one. I know it doesn't seem like a big deal, but I am not a fan of pink!
Took some photos of the original one and my new one side by side and you can see the second one is more bronze and the other is more pink.

Hey. Was the more “gold” one with the lighter strap the one that comes with the periwinkle strap sold exclusively in a large department store? I also think the one that comes with the peach strap is too pink for me. I know it’s meant to be rose gold but I prefer a more gold rose-gold if you see what I mean. Any advice would be great!! I might send my peach one back as the metal is so pink! X

I purchased the SE Rose Gold with the lavender band.

I totally get you! Yes I bought the golder-rose gold versa with the periwinkle band in a department store here in the UK. So glad I sent back my peach one, I am much happier with the rose gold metal on this one.

I purchased the 'Ruby Red with rose gold' from Currys and agree the 'rose gold' is definitely pink!
Did you exchange for the exact same product but looked for a 'golder' colour?
Did the retailer exchange without a fuss?
Thanks

Yes the retailer gave me a refund for my first versa, no issues. I had only used it for a few days though.

Hi asmallscientist, please can you show a picture of your periwinkle band? I’m interested in the rose gold with periwinkle but when I looked at the watch yesterday in the well known department store, the strap looked very pale blue and the watch face very pink. Like you, I don’t want an overly pink rose gold tone. Perhaps it was just the bright store lights?!

Mine is also definitely metallic pink - I got the ruby band one. Really was looking for a true rose gold, may have to shop around...

Looked at the periwinkle, was maybe one shade golder, but you really had to look. Not quite worth hunting around if it's hit or miss. Wish it was truly rose gold...

I have that exact problem. I called in today and sent pictures of mine and my friends peach one... mine looks really pink next to hers. They told me mine is normal and hers is faded do to ware and tear. I’m very disappointed. If I knew it was this pink I wouldn’t have got this colour.

I wrote to fitbit on the online chat, I was told that the Ruby version isn't an official fitbit colour provided by them (?!) I directed them to the Currys website and pointed out its not the same colour as the photo on the website (or the box!) but fitbit customer services weren't interested. Like you say, if I knew it was pink I wouldn't have bought this version and would've bough peach (which IS rose gold).

Did you receive the correct golder one after sending your pinker one in?
