Fitbit verse lite unable to swipe screen on device and switching off to black screen.

Hi can anyone help,

my versa lite usually works very well, however, today it switched off to black screen with a battery power of 98%, I put it on the charger cradle and it has switched back on after a reboot but now I am unable to swipe the device screen it just stays stuck on the clock face.

I would be grateful for any advice/fixes please.

It is possible the crash was caused by a fault or water damage [which you can check for by looking for condensation in the little windows in the back with a magnifying glass]. Often water damage will cause the watch battery to fail very quickly - so watch the battery levels. Verify the watch doesn't get hot when charging.

 

Also try changing the clock face for a standard Fitbit one, using the Fitbit App [as you can't get to any settings on the watch]

 

Try also manually restarting the watch by holding the button for upto 10 seconds till it restarts.

 

If its still a problem probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.
