Fitbit versus losing battery fast and not charging right.

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So I put my fit in charge over night as it was completely flat around 10pm woke up this morning (9am) and it is only charged 50%. Yesterday when I put it on in the morning (7am) it said 100% then by 12pm it was flat. I have deleted extra apps so the only apps on it is the ones it came with. No alarms. Notifications are on though because i need them to be. Any suggests on how to fix this?

The charger you are using?  Is it a branded name Like Apple or Samsung?  I ask as cheaper USB charges can overcharge devices & 'cook the battery' as they do not always come with an internal regulator that senses the device it is charging; is fully charged.

Overnight charging is a bad thing for that very reason - on any device.

Versa will fully charge within 2 hours from totally flat. Well, mine does anyways.

Contact support but what you have written is indicative that you have overcharged the battery too many times for too long & cooked it:  https://help.fitbit.com/?l=en_US&cu=1&fs=ContactUs

Blaze, Surge, Ionic and Versa1. I am not a FitBit employee.

I use the Fitbit cable with a apple port. I had no idea that charging it over night did that. I did that with my charge 2 and that was always fine. Thank you though I have contacted Fitbit for advice.
