Watch Chargers Short Charge cables
I have had many fitbit trackers and every tracker has a different charger. The one question is, why do they make some chargers cable soooo short? Like my wife's Inspired? It connected to the tracker with a not too strong magnet and it if is hanging from an electric outlet a slight bump it and it is on the floor. If the cable were longer it would help prevent that problem. I will probably have to search for a comparable charger for the Inspired so it will be easier to charge the watch. I now have a Versa and although the charger has a long cable it does not just fit right easily you have to struggle a little to make sure it is connected and charging. You have to squeeze the charger and it opens like an alligator and you have to properly like the contact point and make sure the charge cable does not get in the way of closing the charger to start the tracker charging. It is more difficult if you have a tracker band that is a band like a bracelet that does not fully disconnect. Getting the tracker into the charger is even more difficult. Does the Fibit engineers test these chargers before they are approved for sale to the customer?
The best charger I had was included with the Blaze. You popped out the watch band and it fits really simply into the charger and is also simple to put back into the tracker once fully charged. And the cable was long too. The Alta is an easy change and charge.
Watch Bands
The blaze is by far the easiest watch band to change out. The Alta is easy too. But the old fashion pins are difficult to work with to change to a different band (The handle on the pin does make it a little easier with the handle on the pin you use to push down on to remove it or install it on to the tracker.). If you are not careful and your finger or tool slips off the pin the pins spring can cause it to go into orbit and then you have to crawl on the floor looking for the pin. I had this experience when the watch band on my fitbit tracker ripped and I had to change out the band. I had the pin shooting up in the air several times and after a long period of time I finally had success. I have another color band that I could change to if I wanted a different look, but I hesitate because of how difficult it is to change out the watch band using pins. The pin as I mentioned makes it hard to change bands if you want a different color or look.
So why doesn't fitbit design bands that are user friendly, most of us are not jewelers.
Thanks,
Joe

I went to the suggestion board and there are a bunch of users who said the cable needs to be longer. I could not figure out how to vote to agree.
I wonder why they keep changing the charging cable for every watch. Would it not save money if they kept with the same or similar design?
