I have notices that when I finish an exercise and check the calories, if I do not stop the exercise on fitibt it will keep adding calories burned even when I am immoble.

@ShelVar1 so you're saying you burnt 55 calories during the cooling down period. Seems possible to me. I observe the same thing after a workout when my heart rate is slowing down. Perhaps you could post the screenshots of the heart rate recording  and calorie burn for that workout from Fitbit mobile app?

@ShelVar1 because you're burning calories. You're burning calories when you're breathing, thinking, or your heart is beating, etc. You can just sit and rest, but you will keep burning calories. Check out this help article.

I realize that, but it seems the calories burn as fast when I'm done as the do when I am working out. Yesterday I swam for fifteen minutes and burned 140 calories, then quit, sat in the hot tub for ten minutes and the calorie burn was up to 195. That does not seem accurate.

Thanks, I just don't want to think I am burning more calories than I actually am.

@ShelVar1 I usually stop the exercise after I finish and stretch. 🙂
