Fix for versa not syncing with huawei and honor

I have the honor 10 and have been fuming as it wouldnt sync at all. It was becoming a pain in the end and fitbit were no help at all

 

I tried all the tips they tell you to but to no avail but have found one myself

 

Go to settings

System and reset settings

Reset network settings

 

This completely resets the bluetooth and its worked for me...  Been on for over 24 hours now. Id have been lucky to get it to work for 24 seconds before

Try emailing the developer at the bottom of the app. I had to do that once and he was responsive.

It is my personal opinion that syncing problem with Huawei devices is
nothing technical in nature. It's a trade war attrition and deliberately
blocked and won't solve soon. I parted with my Fitbit versa.

Today it started syncing and receiving messages again and sync fix is doing job again (wasn't active for 2 days now fixing constantly) let's hope it will work well again

My works today quite OK. There were some moments that what's ups came one minute late but still fine. I hope your is just having bad moment and will work

Unfortunately, the 'fix' doesn't appear to be working for me. The Versa doesn't sync with my honor view 10 and I have never received a notification.. Not really the fault of the developer though . 

I'm seriously considering sending the Versa back with all these issues after 2 days of use.

@nsign7. Yes unfortunately it is the fault of Fitbit. They know about the problem and decide to do nothing.... The moderaters watch this sight but don't help out, they simply tell you to uninstall and reinstall... Sorry for your troubles.

It's a shame. I previously had a Blaze which was better at syncing with my View 10 so it's rather strange that newer versions don't have the same compatibility. Don't have any issues syncing with my work Samsung s8

Anyway hoping that the developer of the sync fix may be able to help with our issues.. I'd be happy to purchase the unlocked version if I can get a period of stability.. 😊

I paid for this app after few days of trial. There was just a problem with syncing for 2 days and since then it's back to normal now and I can see that the app is debugging few times a day. I love my notifications so I don't regret paying for the Sync app 😊 let's hope your will work good as well xx

@themargot80 . Hey I emailed the developer and he pushed out a new update to me of the app and we are working perfectly again!!!! Love that guy! I wonder if he knows how much we appreciate him? Lol.   Have a great day!

So what version of the app do you have. 0.5.2 is the version on the play store  Do you have a newer version?

Got my Versa for Christmas and it synced with my Huawei P20 straight away with no problems!!! Merry Christmas all 😘😘😘😘

Is this with using the sync fix app? Or did it just   sync on its own.?  Would be nice if Fitbit got on the ball and fixed the issue.

Sorry,  but your box should state that fact very clearly,  so that there is no surprise for the users , I have huawei  mate 10 lite and i am facing severe connectivity issues , and your excuse about comparability is not at all accepted.
