I have the honor 10 and have been fuming as it wouldnt sync at all. It was becoming a pain in the end and fitbit were no help at all

I tried all the tips they tell you to but to no avail but have found one myself

Go to settings

Reset network settings

This completely resets the bluetooth and its worked for me...  Been on for over 24 hours now. Id have been lucky to get it to work for 24 seconds before

I have tried all the possible solutions offered on the group. Last night I discovered an app you can install called sync fix for fitbit. It comes with a free 10 day trial period and offers temporary fix and permanent fix. Since I have installed it my fitbit has been syncing perfectly! Will definitely purchase it after the 10 days as this beats me having to change my fitbit or phone. Hope this helps anyone struggling with the same issue 😊

Sync is now working for Honor 10 & Fitbit Versa!!!

For my Honor 10 I did the most recent update to EMUI 9.0.0. After that I did the fitbit firmware update and it all works perfectly ever since.

Yep, works for me too following the emui 9 update. I was running the fix app but it's not necessary now thankfully .

Hey guys! I hope you are doin' fine! Well, there are some Huawei phone models that work fine with Fitbit devices. You can take a look at our most updated compatible devices list in this link. However, some Huawei models that are not on that list, might work with your Versa after EMUI update, although I can't guarantee that. You can give it a try. 😉

Let me know how it goes!

bump syncing still horrible, before u ask yes everything worked fine, yes me and my parents have 3 different phones iphone 6s, galaxy s7, huawei p20 pro(this one might not be supported) so i mean im starting to regret gifting my parents a fitbit versa... we had no problems receiving notifications whatsoever but the last two weeks we are having bad syncs and now not receiving any notifications, 3 different phones so don't bother giving me the basic staff link to a post cz i have tried them all.

Hey @Thysor, welcome to the Community! I appreciate the time you have taken to try the tips I've suggested. Well, if your Versa isn't syncing with those phones that you mentioned, then the issue must be with the Versa itself, so I have escalated your case with our Support team so they can further assist you. Please keep an eye on your inbox.

@danirose25, thanks for the update. Sounds great that your Versa is syncing fine now.

Let me know if you have further questions!

Hi,

I have a Huawei P20 Lite and the sync issue is becoming a nightmare. Could you please let me know what needs to be done to fix the issue apart from the usual restarting the phone, un-pairing the device etc.

Thanks

Prathima

Hey @Prathimareddy, it is great to see new members around! Well, let me explain to you that, due to Bluetooth issues that prevent certain devices, like Fitbit devices, from syncing, our products aren't compatible with the following phones:

  • Huawei P8 Lite
  • Huawei P9 Lite
  • Huawei P20 Lite
  • Xiaomi Mi 6

I appreciate you have tried some tips to fix the syncing issue.

Let me know if you have further questions!

Try the app "sync fix for FitBit"  it's what a lot of us are using since Fitbit isn't interested in fixing the issue. The app works great.

Thanks for your reply @Prathimareddy. The Samsung Galaxy J3 is on the compatible devices list, so you should not have inconveniences to sync your Versa with it. However, if this is the case, I suggest you to take a look at the instructions in this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Thanks for stopping by @Karona218. If you have further questions or comments, let me know!

I'll be around!

Hey @klaraum! I hope you are doin' fine! The Huawei Honor 6A is not on the compatible devices list, so I'm afraid that you might experience connectivity issues between it and your Versa. However, you can try so sync them, it could work, but I can't guarantee that.
