Hi, sorry to know about that issue with your phone and Fitbit Versa, most of the time it might be related to device compatibility, you can check on https://www.fitbit.com/devices to verify that, but most Huawei/Honor devices are not compatible.
You can always try to Setup the device with a different device such a compatible tablet or Computer with Bluetooth.
Hope you can get this resolved or worked around and don't hesitate to contact Support for any additional assistance.

Hi ive actually got it working as stated on my post
Its prob not a lot long term solution and to b honest, i feel like the fitbit developers are a let down. They dont even seem bothered about looking for a solution for the honor and huawei phones which is disapointing

Pre sales marketing or packagimg does not mention about compatibility issues. Moreover the phones meet minimum Bluetooth 4.0 requirements. I have an Honor View 10 and strangely it synced twice and was working fine for few hours. I got my Fitbit Versa in my hand yesterday. I don't wish to pair it with Tablet or PC. I feel cheated.

I know what u mean its so irritating and fitbit dont give a **ahem** about it
The fix ive found is only a quick fix and i still have to rest my network settings at least twice a day
Fitbit should be ashamed of themselves.. They only care about apple and samsung and its a disgrace

Ditto this. There's no justification for Fitbit to exclude Honor devices from compatibility testing as the Honor devices are wildly popular around the world. Some of the watch faces even have instructions about rebooting your device because of "Fitbit's buggy communication framework". Developers know it's bad, users know it's bad, so get on it and rewrite this monstrosity already!

Has anyone managed to find a fix for this yet? I'm getting sick and tired of this because fitbit on their website market this product as "Works with android", yet it obviously doesn't cater for all. It only has interest in samsungs and apple devices. Someone posted a message about the honor 9 (or 8, can't remember) over a year ago and the response was "we're trying our hardest to get it compatible". A year later, the device is still not listed on their compatible devices page. At this rate, i don't think the honor 10 will ever be compatible which is horrendous, coming from a fitness industry giant.
They market it as an Android compatible device, get you to buy it, and then tell you after that there was a compatibility list. What nonsense. I'm massively disappointed with fitbit.

Same as everyone, I bought a fitbit versa without knowing it wasn't compatible with Honor. First time first bad experience with Fitbit.
As it appears, problem was discovered year ago but hasn't been solved. Why such honor devices shouldn't be compatible with fitbit? Fact is that I'm sure they know how to fix it or it wouldn't take so much time to fix it.
Now please fitbit, get that shi* fixed for once! How can you pretend to sell fitbit devices that are not compatible with the actual newest smartphones? Are you kidding really?

I had a Huawei honor 8 and I do not have any trouble with Fitbit charge & versa syncing over one year till now. However, it takes over 15 mins (or even longer) to sync one day data. Once I switch my phone to iPhone, it only cost 1 or 2 mins for the whole week data. I will say probably update your Huawei system (EUI?) to the lastest version and see if it is compatible with Fitbit.

I have the same problem with Honor View 10 and Fitbit Ionic. The reply from Fitbit is the device is not supported.

Hey,
I tried reseting the network. It worked the first time around but two hours later it stopped syncing my data to the app. I decided to reset the network again and NOW my versa won't connect to my phone/app. I have an Honor 10 as well.
Any leads?
Thanks

Hi
Its fast becoming an absolute joke this fitbit and honor issue is and fitbit just dont care....
When it fails to sync after resetting the network settings go to settings then bluetooth and unpair. Then re pair it... It may take a while to find it but it will do eventually... Its about time fitbit fixed this issue

It is ridiculous to see the responses from the Fitbit team. Fitbit does not seem to care about supporting any new phones other than the ones from Samsung and Apple. Now I am stuck with a (so-called) Smartwatch which does not work.

I agree. How is such a big phone company forgpt about? I know there are other bigger phone's. But, Huawei Mate SE worked perfectly for a few hours now they won't even sync no matter what I do. I may reconsider wearing this 24/7 if they don't extend updates to help us out here! Please help out us users!

Hello all. This is my first post here in the community forums. Just like you all, I have a Honor/Huawei smartphone (Honor 10 in this case) paired with my Fitbit Versa. I was facing this irritating issue for some time until one day I decided to unpair the Versa from the phone's Bluetooth settings and the syncing automatically resumed, very nicely in fact!
I monitored for a few days and while the issue did recur, I unpaired the watch (it somehow got paired again) and the syncing indeed automatically resumed. So each time the issue recur, I just unpair the watch from the phone's Bluetooth settings. Not very sure if this is a Fitbit app or phone issue. Hope you all can give this a shot. Its working for me currently 🙂

I wish i had known this before getting the versa. If i was to pay the $ for the versa and STILL have to use an apple phone, then i would have bought an apple watch. This is getting beyond ridiculous and so frustrating.
