I was just given my Versa watch as a valentines present w the pink band. It sure looks lovely when you open it up! But...I am a runner and I cant see the numbers when I am running intensely and it is hard to hold the watch up to your face and get it to even turn on when you are running and all that effort interferes with your run anyways. THEN TO ADD INSULT TO YOUR EFFORTS...The face turns off just as you stumble in frustration to try and get it to stay on. I am dying of curiosity how any other serious athletes use this watch? I have a Garmin Forerunner and thought the Fitbit would be a neat upgrade with the sleep application. Athletes want to see their heart rate and their pace EASILY and at all times during the workout. That is the whole point of monitoring. And runners also want to hit the stop button on their watch after they cross a finish line. It takes 10 extra seconds fo figure this out on the Versa. The old Garmin has three bold and important faces...PACE, HR, DISTANCE (and you can change these too as there are other options) and at 55 yrs old I can see them and don't have to wear my glasses. What were the designers of this watch thinking? The heck with this fancy looking watch. I will strap the old Garmin iron workhorse back on my wrist and return the Fitbit. SOO disappointing.

Hi, if you want to see the stats during exercises, just, before starting, swipe up from the bottom of your display and the Today screen will appear, telling you all the stats you want. the alternative is to install a Third Party Clock face that is able to do that.

Hi, 10 secs is pretty fast for the Today screen to disappear. If you have a little patience I will send you a clock face that's able to do that. It's a third party one, for which you have to pay about $1.25 dollar, but it's worth every penny of it. Highly customizable and with two screens. The home screen, which you adjust entirely to your own liking and by a simple slight tap on the home screen, you will get the stats screen, also very adjustable to your needs. Once tapped, it stays on untill you tap again and the Home screen will be displayed again. At this very moment I cannot send you a link to that Clock Face, cause it's not officially published yet in the All Clocks of the Fitbit app, but I'm using it now for over one week as a beta tester for the developer and it's an absolutely amazing clock face of only 50 kB. I think that this will be released within a few days. Agree waiting for that, cause that will solve your problem? Even whenever the stats screen disappears during your exercise, a simple light touch on the home screen will bring it back instantaneously, while the Today screen needs 2 to 3 secs to load, not this one!!
BTW, I will contact you immediately when it's available in the Fitbit app store.

I'm sure you will be asthonished by this Clock Face. Just a little patience is needed for a few days. I agree with you that a lot of Clock Faces look amateuristic, but this one is very professional, as all of his Clock Faces are!!!

Hi, I have been searching also for a Clock Face that is most suitable for an athlete and with the option to toggle the screen to always on, mind though that using this option drains your battery. This in IMO a very good alternative and it's directly available and most of all it's free and with a very little size: 13,9 kB. It's called "Essential Watch". As already mentioned it has the "Always on" option. What you could do, to save battery, is have this option disabled when you're not doing workouts and enable it just before starting a workout. Once installed this is very simple: Go to Clock Faces within the Fitbit app, press it and choose my clock and press settings and switch the option to on. To find this CF: In the dashboard of your Fitbit app, press the watch icon on top the the screen on the right side. Press Clocks and then "All clock". On top of that screen you will see a search bar. On the right side of that you see the search icon, press that and you'll get a new search bar with an empty page. Press in this search bar on the left side on the search icon and a cursor will appear and type in "Essential Watch". Press it and install it. After the installation has finished, you will see "selected". Wait for a few secs and the screen will refresh and shows "Settings" and "Permissions". Press the last one and make sure that all items are set to enabled. Go back and press Settings and customize it to you own taste. I think that this is a very good clock face for an athlete.
