Food and Water intake + myfitnesspal + vibrate

Hi,

 

I’m having a few different issues with my Versa Lite. I JUST got it on Sunday (today is Tuesday) and am already having issues /:

 

1. RANDOM VIBRATION/PULSE

I have scoured through so many of these forums and tried everything.. nothing works and I am still getting a short random vibration even though no text, call, step goal, etc or any notification is coming through. The screen remains black but still vibrates.

 

2. Logging water on my watch shows my last log which is essentially useless as I’m trying to see all my water intake. It also does not sync to the dashboard on my FitBit app. The dashboard says 0 fl oz but when I actually click into the water icon, THEN I can see my water intake for the day??? I want to see it on my watch and app dashboard. Not have to constantly click into it. Why don’t they sync together?

 

3. I also synced MyFitnessPal with my Fitbit so that when I log food on MFP, it will sync over to FitBit but it’s not working correctly either. From all the forums I’ve read, I have “revoked access” and connected so many times - still nothing.

* I logged all my food on Monday via MFP. Since they are “synced” I was expecting that after breakfast was entered, the FitBit dashboard would say “X cals in, X cals left” but instead it STAYS at 0 aaaalllllllllll day (on the dashboard AND my watch). Today is Tuesday and my water AND food intake for Monday still says 0 in the dashboard despite clearly have eaten, logged, drank, and logged. The only way to see my food intake is to go on the Fitbit app dashboard, click the knife&fork icon THEN it shows my food summary. ALSO - does MFP pal only show food summaries? Not individual foods?

 

I did not get a Fitbit for it to not work properly. I don’t want to have to constantly be clicking in the app, seeing 0 for water and food intake (even though I’m clearly eating and drinking throughout the day) then having to click AGAIN into the specific categories.

 

Again, the dashboard always has 0 along with my watch. I really want to like the FitBit but dang, I’m having a lot of issues and it’s only day 2.

I can give advice on MFP, the best we can do is to suggest revoke/reconnect which you have already done. 

If this doesn't fix the issue,  it apparently has not fixed it,  then you will need to contact MFP since they are responsible for their interface with Fitbit. 

 

As for the vibrations could  they be the reminder to move at 10 minutes to three hour?

Hi, thanks for the response!

 

Typically whenever I haven’t moved, my watch will vibrate and a little human pops up that says “X steps left for this hour”.. is that what you are referring to? If so, I can see that. The vibration I’m talking about is just a quick little pulse but the screen remains completely black. 

 

I will also contact MFP, thanks again.
