Fully charged Versa shuts off when removed from charger

Please help! My versa is a yr and 7 mths old. It shut off for itself today and when I put it to charge, it is coming on and showing 99%. However, as soon as I remove it from the charger it is shutting off. I tried to restart by pressing the left and lower right buttons, but nothing is happening. I changed clock face, but that does not help. I even switched charging ports, but to no avail. Please help.
