I just got the versa as an early Christmas present and cannot get the gps to connect for a run. I’ve tried the troubleshooting ideas I’ve seen. Any advice would help, because I hate it already. The surge I had before would always connect.

iPhone 5 iOS 11
Seems to connect when I am in the Fitbit app on my phone, but won’t connect otherwise.

@Purplelj Make sure you have Always Connected enabled in your Fitbit mobile app. Also, make sure Background App Refresh for Fitbit app is enabled in your phone Settings along with Location Services. You can try keeping Fitbit mobile app open during your workouts as well and see if display going off kills GPS connection.
