GPS won't connect on Versa to Galaxy 9S+ anymore

My GPS use to work fine but lately when i go to walk and start it simply shows "connecting" for ever. Once in a while after SEVERAL minutes it will connect. Also after trying to connect weather it connects or not my Versa stops syncing. I have to turn off and on my Blueblooth to get it to start working now.

It use to work great and used it allbthe time showing my walking path.

Any help would be appreciated.

I usually restart the phone and GPS connects before the phone powers up completely. Lately with the latest app it simply works and I find I'm not restarting the phone enough and with android still having the memory management issue my phone comes to a stand still for lack of restarting.

Its not my phone with the issue its the Versa that won't connect. All other GPS on phone works fine.

What other Fitbit devices attached to your phone can use the GPS? 

Your versa needs to first connect to the Fitbit notifications services on the phone. This could be an issue with the Versa or phone, and has nothing to do with GPS. 

Once the Versa has a connection to the Notification services on the Phone then the notification services will get your position and send it on to the Versa. 

 

For me a restart of the Samsung S8 has never failed in fixing a GPS issue with connected GPS.
