Getting an alarm that I did not set on my Versa

For some time now I have had an alarm that goes off at 4:50 p.m. I do not presently and have never had an alarm set for that time. What can I do about that short of a factory reset?

Hi @bbran  That is a bit weird! You may need to do a factory reset, but first I would try Restarting  your watch and then setting an alarm for exactly the time it goes off. Let it actually go off after you have done that, then cancel the alarm. That might stop it.

I have done the restart, but will also try setting a new alarm for that time and then delete it.  Will report back, thanks

OK, so I set an alarm for 4:50 PM, it went off at the right time, I tapped the checkmark to stop it and then 1 second later either it or another went off again for the same time, 4:50 PM.  Does that provide any help for a fix?

Hi @bbran  - is it an actual alarm or a notification of an alarm you get? Some alarms can be set via Google Assistant or Alexa. You could try asking them what Alarms they know of.

Avoid a factory reset if possible as the cause may be elsewhere.

Another way is to make loads of alarms until you can't make any more and see how many you have.

If you see 8 then you are seeing them all.

Looks like an actual alarm.  I don't even have Google assistant or Alexa linked to my watch, that I know of.

Added alarms until maxed at 8.

I do have an alarm set for 4:57 PM.  Could there be some reason it goes off early at 4:50?

So I deleted all my alarms and that stopped the random 4:50 p.m. alarm. Now I will add each alarm one at a time day by day and see if the problem recurs. Then I will report back

@bbran  - that's good but I would restart the watch again first after clearing the alarms and check the time is absolutely correct on both phone and watch.

@bbran  I admit that I scanned your post and responses.  You mentioned an alarm set at one time, but it goes off at a different time.  If it’s a smart alarm, then it might go off at a slightly different time than the one you set.

So I checked early on, and the smart wake was not set, though I seem to remember setting it to see what it said and then turned it back off.  So, it was not on, but apparently the watch didn't actually turn it off.  All seems OK now.
