I bought my versa three days ago.
To compare the versa with my old Fitbit charge 2, I wore them at the same time on left hand and right hand. Firstly, My versa always shows very inaccurate heart rate. For example, 102 bmp on versa and 66 bmp on charge 2 when I was lying on the bed. And after I did the the 2 minutes relax, versa show Your HR has changed from 68 to 104 bmp. Are you kidding me???
Second, the distance record is very wierd. I set my stride length automatically both on Charge 2 and Versa, and havent done any GPS tracking exercise. But the distance is always less than my steps* stride length.
Yesterday, I have 4,747 steps with 3.36K (stride length 71cm) on Charge 2 and 5,023 steps with 3.16K on versa. Divided steps and get the stride length 63cm. But it should be 71cm!!!!
The distance is totally not the steps multiple by the stride length!!!!
I have reset my watch third time and done factory reset once but neither ghost steps, distance, nor HR function becomes normal.
Does anyone has the same problem with me, especially the distance issue.

Hey @HelloMow, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community and thanks for trying some troubleshooting to fix this. Ok, let's start with the heart rate issue. If you see that the results are very inaccurate, let me suggest you the following:
- Try changing the setting (either Auto to On, On to Off and then Off to Auto) and then syncing your tracker. Then please sync your Versa.
- Make sure that you are correctly wearing it by checking out this help article
Now in regards of distance, since this issue persists, I'd like you to keep an eye on your inbox because I have escalated your case to our Support team for them to review it.
Let me know how it goes!

Many of us have told Fitbit about the inaccurate heart rate problems. If we talk with Support they say "The engineers are working on it". They have been saying this since the release in mid-April. The Ionic users have the same problem and that has been out since October 1917.
What is insulting to us, is when the Fitbit moderators don't acknowledge this known problem and still make the new user feel like they are doing something wrong. Most likely the user is not.
My fear is that this might be a hardware problem rather than a software one, and that they are reluctant to admit it. I hope I am wrong and that a software fix will come soon.

Could you please post any reply re: inaccurate distance? I have corrected the stride length in my fitbit app, but my versa continues to read at the shorter, default length and is giving me inaccurate distance recordings.
Thanks,

They've mailed me and asked me the details of this issue.
I've clarified as detailed as I can but so far no conclusion....
I'll let you know the following.
