Getting music into Versa 2 with Wi-Fi networks

Having music in my watch so I don't have to carry my phone around the gym is the ONLY reason I bought this watch. But it seems impossible to do. I've poured over this help forum to no avail. I've got 15 hours into this, and still no luck. This is THE least intuitive device/software I have ever used. And support documentation is nonexistant! While some answers are posted here, none of them seem to work or be dated since the advent of the Versa 2.

Elsewhere on this forum I have seen statements such as:

"PC needs Bluetooth Low Energy"

"Versa wifi is only on when charging"

"Versa wifi is off unless needed"

"Watch won't connect via wifi that is 5GHz, 802.11ac, WPA Enterprise or Public"

That last line might be the killer. But it was in a post months ago, before Versa 2 came out. My wifi is 5GHZ AND 802.11ac (whatever that is). Why isn't info such as this front and center in user instructions or on a list of hardware requirements? Is that statement true? Does it still apply to the Versa 2?

Surely 95% of the wifi out there is 5Ghz and/or 802.11ac? Why produce products that don't avail themselves of the latest technology?

Sorry for the rant, but if some accurate, up to date assistance isn't provided soon, my Versa 2 is on it's way back to the store.

I'd like to mention that your Fitbit watch can connect to open, WEP, WPA personal, and WPA2 personal Wi-Fi networks. Your watch won’t connect to 5GHz, 802.11ac, WPA enterprise, or public Wi-Fi networks that require logins, subscriptions, or profiles. You can read more about this here: How do I connect my Fitbit watch to Wi-Fi?

Thank you for your understanding.
