Getting "Max logs entered" error when logging water on Versa.

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've suddenly started getting this "maximum logs entered" message whenever I try to log my water on the Versa. After looking up solutions, I've tried logging out and logging back in, uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, turned my phone off and then back on, but none of this solves the problem! What else should I do?

Hello @mimichan_12 thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. 🙂

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for taking the time to report this situation. I would also like to thank you for letting us know the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. Tell me, are you getting this error message in the Versa or in the Fitbit app? Would it be possible for you to reply to us with a picture of the error message? This will be very helpful for us to check this further.

In the meantime, please go to the Fitbit app, tap on Account > Versa > Apps and make sure the "Today" app has been updated. If you haven't, please update it and let us know if you're still getting the same error message.

Thanks for your patience and understanding, we'll be waiting to hear from you.

I appreciate you have come back to us with the information requested. At this moment, I would like to suggest you to try the following:

  1. Restart your Versa by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen.
  2. Log out from the Fitbit app and log back in.

If you're still getting the same error message, reply to us with a screenshot. Follow these steps to upload it to your next reply.

Hello
I completed the suggested steps in logging out/in the app and resetting my Versa. Now both my app and Versa are showing 62,460ml drank today! This is extremely incorrect

I have completed every step suggested here and I get the same message every time I try to log my water intake. This is frustrating and makes me think that I just wasted a lot of money on something that doesn't work as it should. What more can I do to log my water and not get this error message?

I'm having this same problem. My versa was fine up to Wednesday but now gives me the same error message. Done all the suggested fixes but it's still not letting me log water. Can we get a timeframe for a fix to this error.

Getting the same error on Versa with the latest updates (watch and phone). This is core functionality that is broken. Sounds like an easy hotfix (remove limit, database entries are not that big).

Can we get a timeframe for a fix? This is main reason I chose a Versa over a Charge.

This has just been starting to happen to me when I want to enter my weight.  Any solutions yet?

Getting same message about max log and needing  to sync. Just got versa 1.5 weeks ago... how can I get this remedied? Spent good money on Versa (upgrading from A Flex 2.0) - I chose Versa for quality. This is not it.

Exact same problem and very frustrating. Not something you would expect after spending $200 dollars. Please fix this ASAP as I bought my versa only a month ago, don't think I would be recommending Fitbit versa to my friends if the issue is not resolved in timely manner. Hope to hear good news soon. Thanks

I was having exactly the same problems as everyone here and I think I may have just found a solution!

Last night I shutdown my watch and have only just turned it back on. Been in shutdown for about 16 hours. When I turned it back on I was able to log water and the display on my watch updated to show total water logged!! Hope this has fixed it as this was one of the main reasons I got a Fitbit in the first place so the issues have been disappointing.

Hope this works for everyone else!? Let me know?

Thanks! xxx
