Hi, your phone is on the compatible list, so not your phone, though may be a setting on your cannot be ruled out.

Just to be sure you are setup right check here

In the phone Fitbit App

Click on profile photo [top left]

Device photo [middle left]

Notifications

And verify the top 4 items are correctly defined.

Also

App notifications

and select any apps you want to hear from.

And to be sure your phone is properly synced, check here

In the phone Fitbit App

Click on profile photo [top left]

Device photo [middle left]

Sync -

See when last synced

Try refresh by touching circle

it should say "a moment ago"

Thank you, I appreciate you taking the time to reply. Unfortunately I've tried all the options you mentioned and still no joy. Nevermind the notifications are just a luxury I suppose. I'm definitely going back to apple after this though!

Hi again, not sure if this will help you, but I just found in my watch settings that sleep mode was turned on! I know when I'm in the shower the water hits all kinds of settings. I've turned it off and now my notifications are back on

Thanks for the tip. I have checked sleep mode and it's turned off. I just keep getting the same message. It says notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notifications on your tracker. Yet when I do this it makes no difference! 😫🤯🙈

I received an update to the Fitbit app from the play store this morning, am on version 3.361 now.

Don't know if the fix is already in that version.

Check play store in case you don't have the latest version.

I uninstalled the fitbit app and then reinstalled it again. It's now on the latest version. The message about restarting my phone to receive notifications has now gone. Still not getting notifications though. 🤷🏽‍:male_sign:
