Ghost outdoor bike ride

I purchased my Versa last week and in addition to:

false step and stair counts

Intermittent tap response

I now see my Versa is logging outdoor bike trips I've never taken. Yesterday and today it logged a 20-30 min trip.

At this rate I'll be an amazingly fit couch potato if I choose.

Obviously disappointed with all of this false data cluttering my dashboard and muddying my true records.

Have you tried restarting your Versa? If not, do it several times and see ifnthat fixes it. Let us know how you go

I have restarted and turned tracker off and on several times to date - 4-5. The false steps, stairs, and bike rides still occur.
The altimeter is too sensitive as Fitbit has declared or there is a defective batch of altimeters in my and others watches.

I used to get ghost outdoor bike rides on my Charge2 when I mowed the lawn.  It sensed the vibration while holding the mower was the same as when holding my handle bars.  I haven't ridden my bike or mowed yet this season with my Versa on (I live in Minnesota and will do both this week for the 1st time this season!).  I would expect the same to happen.

I've changed my outdoor biking to manual start up.
