Glitch with versa 3

Don't waste your money on Versa 3. There is a glitch where the logo freezes on the watch screen. Mine is only 1 year old and now completely have to trash it. Fitbit cust service is terrible. They only want to give a discount for another poor quality product. Don't do it!!!! They don't want to admit to a glitch because they don't want to send you a new watch. I refuse to buy anything from  fitbit with their poor quality support. And the steps they have you try don't work. Don't bother trying to boot it down. Doesn't work. It's not the app so dont try unpairing and pairing again. It has something to do with their faulty battery. Once it drains and the logo freezes nothing will restore it. It's only good for one thing...the trash can. Don't spent your money on their crappy products and even worse support. Just check the community messages on here. Many complaints about this exact issue. Fitbit knows very well about this issue and their only answer is 35% off so you can go buy more crappy watches. Um...no thanks...best of luck. You have been warned

Hi @Unhappycus - thanks for highlighting the issue, you are correct there are numerous cases where the watch gets a permanent logo and can't be fixed.

The battery however is not likely to be the cause but a firmware or hardware issue is likely to cause it and render the watch unusable.

Occasionally if it is a temporary issue a restart or sometimes if you can factory reset it, it may resolve it.
