I will keep this short and sweet. I started with the Surge, moved to the Ionic and then to a Charge 3. I recently got a Versa 2 and I must say if this watch holds up it's by the far the best watch I've bought from Fitbit.
I know there are lots of people with issues, and who knows I may have some in the very near future, but after using the watch for a few weeks I love that my older eyes can see this bight screen! The battery life is pretty good and all the apps work great. The only thing I don't love about it is how difficult it is to remove and replace the bands. I thought the Charge 3 had a much better design in terms of swapping the bands.
I also love using Deezer and downloading my playlist into the watch. It's been really awesome being able to go to the gym and forget about communications to the real world. I'm leaving my phone in the car and loving not being connected to it. I am a self motivated guy whom values his music filled workouts without too many distractions, so having this big awesome watch is easy on my eyes and ears!
This watch is way better than the Ionic on every level as long as you don't need on board GPS! The look, the functionality is absolutely amazing. If anyone is looking to move on from their Charge 3's I would highly recommend the Versa 2, it's a HUGE upgrade and cost about the same as the Charge 3.
It's more of a smartwatch, but I find that if you workout alot you will love big face that's much brighter than the charge 3, and this is much needed while working out in the sun. The only advantage I can see the Charge 3 having is that it's more low profile, but for me that doesn't matter.
Good job fitbit, and thanks for giving me an amazing watch for a fair price. I will admit to feeling a bit ripped off when I went through 2 Ionics in a little over 12 months because of the screen falling off, but I'm willing to forgive. Heres to the Versa 2 at least making it to the 12 month mark 🙂 If it does that I will be happy. I know these watches should last longer, but for a little over $100 bucks, I don't mind upgrading ever 12 to 18 months.

I am really happy to hear that your are enjoying your new Versa 2 and find it a total upgrade compared to your Charge 3. Thank you very much for sharing your feedback and hope you enjoy using your Versa for a long time. Please do remember that your device is covered by Fitbit's warranty that you can check here.
