Hi, is there a known issue with Google Assistant not staying connected to the Versa 3…? Alexa works absolutely fine but every-time I try to use Google it constantly says it’s not connected & I have to open the app on my phone to reconnect. I thought possibly it was just my versa/phone, but my daughter also has the versa 3 & hers does exactly the same, Alexa seems to work fine with no issues but after the initial use of Google assistant on trying to use it again it’s no longer connected. Uk based if that makes a diff.

@Dinkydawnie Thanks for those details and the image attached.
To better assist you, may I know if you're using an iOS device? If so, please note the Google Assistant app must remain running in the background on your phone as well. For more information, see What should I do if my voice assistant doesn’t work on my Fitbit smartwatch?

Hi there, @Dinkydawnie. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and sharing the details about the issue with Google Assistant.
This issue may be happening as you want to use both, Google Assistant and Alexa at the same time and for the time being, you can have one voice assistant at a time on your Fitbit device. So, please make sure to remove Alexa in order to install Google Assistant. Additionally, I'd recommend to verify if your country of residence appears in the supported countries list.
If everything is correct, reboot your phone, restart your watch, allow the Fitbit app to run in the background and try setting up Google Assistant on your Fitbit device one more time. Make sure your phone has internet connection and is within 30 feet of your watch when using a voice assistant.
Please also tell your daughter to try the same steps.

Hey, thanks for your reply. I’m not trying to use them both at the same time, maybe I didn’t explain that properly. I just meant when using Alexa they’re no connection issues whatsoever but when swapping over & trying to solely use Google after the 1st initial use (which works fine) on trying to use it again (not swapping between them) it’s not connected. I have tried everything suggested above but unfortunately it doesn’t seem to help ☹️

I've been having this same issue for the last week, since I modified my Google assistant languages. I used to have English as primary and Portuguese as second and everything worked fine. Then I changed the order and it stoped working. I have reverted back to the first order but Google assistant doesn't stay connected. I've tried everything, uninstalling app, rebooting phone, factory resetting versa 3. Keeps happening. If I try alexa it works perfectly.
I live in Portugal but I have my location set to USA and this has always worked fine for me.

Did you get it to work without disconnecting all the time?

me too... Fitbit won't acknowledge/fix this feature listed on my retail box when I bought this product. They shouldn't be allowed to sunset this without giving our money back.
