Get an error saying "double check your card details" when I try to connect fitbit versa 2 with Google wallet. My card has been linked to the Google wallet for like 2 years and it's fine to tap and go with on my phone

Hello @Jay_Tay and welcome to the Community.  Google Wallet for Fitbit is different from Google Wallet on your phone.  Not all banks participate in Google Wallet for Fitbit.  First, make sure your bank is supported.  If your bank is support, you might need to contact your bank directly.  Some banks have systems that see these setups as fraudulent accounts and they need to get authorized.
