I have used Fitbit Pay in the past and now that it's being replaced by Google Wallet, I need to set that up. When I go to the Fitbit app page which should have Google Wallet, I only see "Wallet" with an exclamation mark over it. When I touch on that, it shows me a screen talking about Google Wallet and with a button at the bottom saying "Update to Wallet". When I touch on that, I'm taken to a web page which simply has instructions about how to setup Google Wallet. It tells me how to navigate in the Fitbit App to the screen from which I actually just came and says to touch on "Google Wallet", but there's no Google Wallet tile there, only "Wallet".
I have migrated my account to Google. I have restarted the app. I have restarted my watch. I have reinstalled the app (iPhone SE running the latest version of iOS). I have restarted my phone. I have completely reset my watch to factory settings, thus forcing it to update to the current Fitbit OS (which it was already running anyway). I have removed my watch from my Fitbit account and added it back. I have verified that my Location associated with my account is "United States". Basically, everything which is mentioned by any web pages as a possible solution has been tried and doesn't work for me!
I guess I need someone at Fitbit to fix it for me? Any suggestions I haven't already tried?

I contacted Fitbit Support and they FINALLY sent a somewhat coherent reply, but I still think it's lying about the cause of the problem in order to make the support case go away. Here's what they said:
After careful review of your case, we have determined that your device is classified as defective.
The reason is that it lacks the necessary firmware to support Google Wallet on its system so the Fitbit app doesn't detect it to install the update.
Unfortunately, there's no way to manually install the missing firmware on your device.
This indicates a potential hardware or software malfunction that prevents the standard update process,
that's the reason why we have reviewed the warranty options and shared them with you.
So, a watch which has worked just fine on Fitbit Pay for years is suddenly "defective" and can't work on Google Wallet. I'd really like to hear a more detailed, software and hardware aware, response, instead of "it's defective, buy a new one".
Furthermore, I just now grabbed an old Versa (that's Versa 1) and installed Google Wallet onto that just fine. We'll see if it actually works and then if it carries over to my Versa 3 when I move back. Otherwise, maybe I'll just go back to using the Versa 1!
Update: Ok, Google Wallet works just fine on my old Versa 1. Maybe there's something to this "hardware or software mailfunction". Maybe time to buy a used Versa 3 from ebay. (Developers aren't allowed to build for a Versa 4, so Versa 3 has more apps/clockfaces available for it.)

Same here, can't find any help on this - very annoying as can't even add new cards.

Beside fitbit, first step is getting google wallet/pay to work and be able to use it.
