Google calendar notifications for and reminders don't stop even if no longer displayed on phone

Hi all, 

 

I have problems with repeat notifications for events and reminders that I receive long after the event has started or the reminder has been marked as complete. 

The  biggest problem, though, are calendar events that have an alert set to "Time to leave". For those, I often not only get the reminder at the time I am supposed to leave but long after the event has started.  Not even resetting my Fitbit helps. 

Is there anything I can try or test? Thanks for your help!

@Tolk, welcome! Thanks for being part of our Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Google calendar notifications on your Versa. Try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device. 
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on. 
  • You can find additional suggestions here.

Also check your Google Calendar settings that you don't get reminded about this "the whole day".
