My fitbit pay of versa2 function disappeared and can not rebuild again after latest update of firmware 35.72.1.23.

I wonder whether it is anything to do with the case google has completed merger and acquisition of fitbit

Possibly , google has google pay so that in future the fitbit pay will be phased out and changed to new solution . This is the reason at this moment fitbit wallet can not be set temporarily.

How does your theory explain how I am still using Fitbit Pay on my Sense?

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

@JohnnyRow  Good evening. You are vert lucky so that you are still using fitbit pay.

The reason is that while you are updating latest firmware, your smartphone's android/ios satisfies the minimum requirement.

However , my smartphone's android/ios doesn't satisfy the minimum requirement.and lose the function of fitbit pay.

I buy a new smartphone but no chance to have the function again.

Point is once lose the function, no chance to obtain it again.
