Got the Find Phone app but it obviously isn’t looking very well!

I got the “Find Phone” app in the latest update yesterday.  When I tried to “find my phone”, it states “Couldn’t find your phone. Move to a different location and retry”.  I’ve tried three locations in the house and I keep getting the same message.  Am I doing something wrong?
