HR monitor and customer service failure

I bought my girlfriend the new Fitbit Versa special edition as a present. The heart rate monitor stopped working within the first two days. We contacted customer service multiple, and they provided no help, they offered no Solutions to resolve, and we ended up having to refund the product rather than wait 3-4 more weeks after the pre-order to receive a new working Fitbit Versa. Products good when they work, but terrible if you need to deal with their customer service.

It's always disappointing when something doesn't work. But remember,  the customer service people didn't make that device and it's not their fault if it fails. Not quite sure why you're disappointed with customer service.  Sounds like they offered you a refund or wait for the Versa to come back in stock. Again, it's not the customer service reps fault that the product is out of stock. They offered you a refund. If they hadn't, that would be a reason to be upset.

no kidding...after decades of buying and using MANY Polar HRM/Watches i finally gave up on them when my h10 chest belt NEVER worked and the best they would offer as a 25% discount on a new product.
