Fitbit Update: 2/19/19
Hi Versa Fam!
We're aware of an issue where some of you may be experiencing issues with your Versa no longer tracking heart rate (HR) and the lights below on the sensor don't flash.
If you come across this problem, please give the watch a restart. We suggest charging the watch to a full battery and monitoring the HR behavior afterward.
Just to make sure we have all the bases covered, double-check that you have Heart Rate turned "On" under the Settings app.
If your watch still isn't recording your HR, please let us know and we'll connect you with our Customer Support team.
Thanks for your troubleshooting efforts! We'll be around if you need us.

Same thing has happened to me. My Fitbit is basically useless at this point. I tried cleaning it, tightening it, and turning hr on and off. Nothing.

Thanks, @NellyG! I think I was assuming the worst and being overly concerned because I'm back on the diet track and it threw off my calorie allotment quite a bit, and that made me (h)angry, ha ha. Your answer was quite apt; thank you

Hi, are you using by any chance a Third Party Clock Face? If yes. two things:
1. What is the name of the clock you're using? Clocks - press it - go to My Clock and you will see the name of your clock. It will also show, when it's possible to customize it, the settings possibility. Press that and scroll down to the end of the screen untill you see "Contact the Developer" and send him/her an email about your issues.
2. Meantime, install a Clock Face made by Fitbit itself and after that restart your Versa.

I was able to fix it. I restarted both my watch and my phone at the same time. That seemed to fix it. I lost my active hours for the day it wasn’t working but it’s working now. Hope this helps.

@Brensi It is always really annoying when somethjng doesnt work correctly and small electronic devices seem prone to periodic glitches. Fortunately for me, all my fitbit glitches have been just that and not something more serious, but unhappily that sometimes happens too! I hope yours behaves properly from now on.

I had a similar problem; my Versa wouldn't show heart rate. Tried the suggestion of rebooting three times and it's working (for now). Fingers crossed.

Heat rate stopped working. Can't get the versa to reboot. Not even 2 months old. Total waste of money. Seems a lot of people have this problem. Maybe the company should work on fixing it. Not happy.

I rebooted and the BPM showed right up but it doesn’t show my sleep history for the last two nights. Is there a way to get
that or is it normal and I should see something tomorrow morning now that it seems to be back on line? Thanks!
