Fitbit Update: 2/19/19

 

Hi Versa Fam!

 

We're aware of an issue where some of you may be experiencing issues with your Versa no longer tracking heart rate (HR) and the lights below on the sensor don't flash.

If you come across this problem, please give the watch a restartWe suggest charging the watch to a full battery and monitoring the HR behavior afterward. 

 

Just to make sure we have all the bases covered, double-check that you have Heart Rate turned "On" under the Settings app.

If your watch still isn't recording your HR, please let us know and we'll connect you with our Customer Support team.

Heart rate is actually turned ON or OFF under the Versa device settings.

@Bonch22 Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry for the late response. However, I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they sent you an email with some instructions. Was a solution provided?

I'm sorry to hear that your Versa is not tracking your heart rate nor sleep even though you have restarted it and re-set it up before contacting our forums. I would like to follow up and would like to know if the issue persists or if your sleep and heart rate is being tracked again.

Hi thanks for responding! I followed the instructions that were sent over
and my Versa is still unresponsive. Do I need to call into customer support
again?

Yes,  call customer support. Hopefully yours will be under warranty as mine was.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

Is there something going on with ALL of our Versas?! Mine stopped monitoring my HR last Thursday.

My Fitbit isn’t tracking my HR, my Active minutes, my sleep, not green light flashing at all plus doesn’t sync my steps in the challenges. I already uninstalled the app and installed again, I have restarted the watch and the phone, ..... nothing is working ...... my Fitbit doesn’t track HR or any of the stats mentioned before since Friday 22nd Feb. I don’t know what else I can do to fix it!!!!!

I restart my fitbit three times, still not recording my HR & green LED lights is not coming on. HR setting is turned ON.

 

What do I do next?

I've tried following steps:

  Press three bottoms to reboot
  Turn off the device and restart it
  Switch off HR sensor and turn on again
  Check the wrist band fitting properly
  Simply wear the device to sleep (on a automatic tracking) 
  Remove and reinstall Fitbit app
  Factory reset
 
After the factory reset the Fitbit doesn’t pair with the mobile 🤦🏼‍:female_sign:

I chatted with a representative yesterday, manual reset and factory reset and still no HR. I had just charged it that morning and the battery drained by the evening. The Versa was fully charged by bedtime so I figured I’d sleep with it on to see if that helped HR. I woke up less than 8 hours later to an unresponsive Versa.

Sorry to hear that your Versa isn't tracking your heart rate.

 

@ChgogrlPlease try a restart your Versa and see if this helps resolve the issue.

 

@Azahaara @Pop243 @Bonch22 since the issue persist the best thing to do is letting our Support team know so they can further assist you. @Azahaara you will get an email from them.  @Pop243 @Bonch22 I  noticed that you already have a ticket with them so I wanted to know if they were able to help you?

Just curious, if there is a known issues with things like this, are there not ways to notify the community or fitbit users? I only found out AFTER my workout with no HR reading.

My HR on my Versa is on and I have restarted my Versa but still no heart rate is showing on my Versa.

I am having the same issues with the HR not tracking. It worked fine until this morning. This Fitbit is only 2 months old. I have restarted the device several times and toggeled on and off in settings and nothing is working. This is frustrating because I just bought this at $200. Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi,
My HR finally came back after I restarted it making sure it was fully charged. It took about an hour after restarting.

I did the reboot to My Fitbit last week, and it worked normal again. Today, I had to reboot it again, it stopped recording my sleep and heart rate again. The heart rate came back,I will have to see in the morning if it is tracking sleep again.

My Versa is doing the same thing for the past week. I have already completed a factory restore, made sure the monitor is on, not off and still no lights or heart rate.
