Hi @All...

First question: is there somebody who owns a Versa and a Huawei P Smart (also known as Enjoy 7S)?

Second question: if you own this combination... is it working for you?

  • I'm interested in knowing how stable is the synchronizing (does it work everytime, sometimes, almost never)
  • and are messages and calls unfailing shown on versa?

Thanks for helping me out.

Note for the moderators: please! I already know that this device is not on your compatibility list - so please: don't repeat it again and again. Thx...

To explain it better for you: Some users got Huawei devices working with Fitbit products and some really ambitiously developers did a respectable job with building workarounds that seem to work better than fitbit software... - for which I thank you most sincerely!

THANK YOU GUYS!

@chrd I entirely understand, mate. My advice would be to go with a brand that doesn't have heavy skin over Android. If you don't want to go with big flagships that were tested here, perhaps something like OnePlus? Their Oxygen OS is one of the lighter skins. Good luck!

@Marrrmaduke: yes, I recognized this but left me alone with your hopeful wish. But thanks for reply. I hoped for just one user that can confirm he or she runs that both devices without the whole trouble one can get in with fitbits. 😞

I really like the stuff, got a charge2 and a versa. But since the first day I struggle with syncing and messages. Now it's time for a new smartphone and I want to get out of this hamsterwheel with pairing again and again, reboot, reinstall and so on. That's why I asked. At least I saw an app at the play store, build for huawei devices that should fix the known troubles. So I asked here for working examples. 😉

@Marrrmaduke: got news Smiley LOL

step 1 - went purchasing a phone that is listed in fitbits-device-list.

step 2 - installed fitbit-app and got everything working out-of-the-box.

step 3 - was happy for about one week.

step 4 - got the actual app-update to 2.85

step 5 - just sad... app + phone + versa are not working together anymore. just getting same messages like restarting bluetooth and tracker couldn't be found like before purchasing the new phone.

there's nothing left for me except... Smiley LOL
